As the New Client Care Coordinator, Shamiya brings a compassionate approach to the therapy office to ensure clients receive optimum support and care. With a background in Sociology, Shamiya has devoted time to learning about the development, structure, and function of human society and its social relationship patterns.

Shamiya has experience in intake and referral management, preparation of clinical files and documents, and utilizing medical records to assist clients and clinical staff. She aims to enhance the overall experience for individuals seeking mental health services, by fostering a positive and unique environment while creating a workspace that values diversity, equity, and a sense of belonging.

In Shamiya's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new foods, and shopping.
